Homunculus Information

Homunculi are special companions for Alchemist classes, created to assist their master in battle. They have their own stats, skills, and levels, and can evolve after becoming loyal. They mutate to their S form after reaching level 99, gaining new skills and upgrading their level cap to 275.

Base Homunculus

There are four types of base Homunculi, each with a unique role and set of skills.

Creating and Evolving

How to Create a Homunculus
1. Obtain 1 7142.png Embryo (7142). You can buy this from other players or craft it using the Pharmacy (Prepare Potion) skill.
2. Use the Call Homunculus skill. This will consume the Embryo and summon a random base Homunculus.
3. If you did not get the Homunculus you wanted, open its status window (Alt+R), click the Delete button, and repeat Step 2 with a new Embryo.
How to Evolve a Homunculus
1. Increase your Homunculus's Intimacy until it becomes Loyal (Intimacy of 911 or higher).
2. Obtain a 12040.png Stone of Sage (12040) and use it while your Homunculus is summoned to evolve it. After evolution, its power increases significantly.

Managing Intimacy

A Homunculus becomes Loyal at an Intimacy level of 911. You can check this with the @hominfo command or in the status window (Alt+R).

How to Make Your Homunculus Loyal
Method 1: Auto-Feeding Enable auto-feed in your AI settings and leave your character farming or AFK in a safe, low-level area. A Homunculus's summon duration is 30 minutes, so you will need to recall it every half hour to prevent it from vanishing.
Method 2: Supplements Use 100371.png Homunculus Supplement (100371) to instantly increase Intimacy by +10 per use. It takes 90 supplements to go from 0 to Loyal.

Intimacy gain is based on its hunger level. The optimal range is 11-75%.

Starving (<11%) -1 (every 200 seconds)
Hungry (11% ~ 25%) +10 per feed
Normal (26% ~ 75%) +7.5 per feed
Satisfied (76% ~ 90%) -0.05 per feed
Full (91%~100%) -0.5 per feed

Homunculus S

After reaching level 99, an evolved Homunculus can be mutated into a powerful Homunculus S.

How to Get a Homunculus S
1. You must be a Geneticist.
2. Your base Homunculus must be evolved and at least level 99. Loyalty is not required for the mutation but is recommended.
3. Go to the Geneticist Guild in Lighthalzen (@go 20, then @navi job3_gen01 45 50).
4. Speak to the NPC Viorel. You can either pay 50,000 Zeny to choose a specific Homunculus S or get one randomly for free.

Homunculus S Recommended Base & Strategy
Eira Overed Boost provides a massive FLEE and ASPD buff, making Eira an excellent tank for high-end content. The skill drains SP when it ends.
  • Recommended Base: Amistr for maximum tankiness, or Filir/Vanilmirth for faster intimacy gain via their offensive skills.
Bayeri A tank that uses Stein Wand to block damage and Goldene Ferse to boost FLEE. Its main AoE, Heilige Stange, deals VIT-based damage.
  • Recommended Base: Amistr to maximize its HP and VIT-based damage.
Sera A unique support that reduces incoming damage by a flat amount with Pain Killer and can summon minions to tank with Summon Legion.
  • Recommended Base: Vanilmirth for its utility in brewing or Amistr for personal tanking.
Dieter A powerful offensive support that provides a large ATK buff with Pyroclastic and defensive buffs with Granitic Armor.
  • Recommended Base: Amistr for its durability.

AI Troubleshooting

Troubleshooting Your Homunculus AI
First Steps Before making any changes, back up your AI folders (both `AI` and `AI_sakray`) located in your Omegammo game folder.
Switching to Custom AI The default in-game AI does nothing. You must switch to the custom AI at least once.
  1. In-game, ensure your Public chat log is visible.
  2. Type /hoai.
  3. The chat should respond: "Homunculus has been customized." If not, type the command again.
  4. Type @refresh to apply the changes.
Vanilmirth Not Casting Caprice If your Vanilmirth is only auto-attacking:
  1. Open the file: `AI\USER_AI\H_Config.lua`.
  2. Find the line `UseVaniCaprice = false` and change it to `UseVaniCaprice = true`.
  3. Save the file, then use /hoai and @refresh in-game.
Dieter Not Casting Tempering If your Dieter is not providing its ATK buff, you may need an updated AI. Download the recommended Kisaro AI: Kisaro/AzzyAI.
  1. Close all game clients.
  2. Unzip the downloaded file.
  3. Delete the contents of your `AI` folder (do not delete the folder itself).
  4. Copy the contents of the `AzzyAI-master` folder into your now-empty `AI` folder.
  5. Log in and use /hoai to activate the new custom AI.
Resetting Your AI If you've made changes that break your AI, you can reset it:
  1. Delete the contents of your `AI` folder.
  2. Copy the contents from your `AI_sakray` folder into the `AI` folder. This will restore the default custom AI.
