Poring Driving School

Introduction

The Poring Driving School is an automatic, server-wide "Red Light, Green Light" style racing event. Players are transformed into Porings and must carefully navigate a track by following traffic signals. Quick reflexes and discipline are key to reaching the finish line and earning rewards!

How to Play

The goal is to cross the finish line by only moving at the right times.

Gameplay Steps
1.	Joining the Race When the event is about to start, a server-wide announcement will be made. You will have a 1-minute window to join by typing @jointaxi. Upon joining, you will be transformed into a Poporing, your movement speed will be set, and you'll be warped to the starting line of the event map.
2.	Follow the Signals The race is controlled by three repeating signals that will be announced on the map. You must react accordingly: [Green Signal]: GO! You are safe to move towards the finish line. [Yellow Signal]: CAUTION! You can still move, but be prepared for the signal to change to red. Your character will change its appearance as a warning. [Red Signal]: STOP! You must stop moving immediately. If you move more than 3 cells from where you were when the signal turned red, you will be disqualified.
3.	Reaching the Finish Successfully navigate the track by following the signals until you reach the finish line at the end of the course. Step on the finish line to win!

Rules & Important Notes

Key Rules

Time Limit: The event lasts for a total of 5 minutes. Any players who have not reached the finish line by then will be warped out. Disqualification: Moving more than 3 cells during a Red Signal will get you "fined" and immediately removed from the event. Information NPC: You can talk to the Receptionist Event NPC at (omegamap,136,176) for a summary of the rules. Map Restrictions: To ensure a fair race, many features are disabled on the event map, including skills, teleporting, items, and chat. There is no penalty for dying.
