16.1 Banquet for Heroes (The Royal Banquet)

The Royal Banquet

Another name for the Episode 16.1 updates. This focuses on who will be crowned the new king among the 7 royal families. Three new instances (two of which are repeatable), and two new dungeons were added as part of this update. The city of Prontera, and the castle also got a huge graphical overhaul.

Noblesse Equipment is also introduced and the selling NPC can be accessed at any time.

Main Quest

• Note: You will need to have access to New World Access Quest before Royal Messenger will respond.

1. Speak with the Royal Messenger to start the quest and he will give you a Party Invitation (prontera,121,72)

2. Talk with Chamberlain Bell at the entrance of Prontera Castle. (prt_cas,217,150)

3. Walk to the west wing and into your private room talk to Chamberlain Bell and find out that a ritual needs to take place to replace the sudden death of the previous king. (prt_cas_q,26,30)

Learning About the Families

• Note: The following can be done in any order, but is easiest if you do it in the order of this guide:
• At any time if you do not know which families still need to be talked to, talk to Chamberlain Bell and he will tell you who's missing.

1. Heines Family: Walk to the room just north of your private room (prt_cas_q,131,32) approach the table and wait for the conversation to end.

• Talk to Kronecker G. Heine and find out Peter will be the Heine candidate which makes Nyhill jealous. (prt_cas_q,19,85)

• Leave the room and walk a bit north. Nyhill and Skia will start a conversation about being the shadow of Peter and the Heine family. (prt_cas_q,142,37)

2. Nerius Family: Travel north to the next room in the west corridor and talk to Spica Nerius. (prt_cas_q,20,139)

• Led by women, the Nerius family is not interested in the throne. Erich is the candidate and is hanging out in the banquet hall.

3. Walther Family: Walk to the furthest room in the west corridor and talk to Ian Walther. (prt_cas_q,20,180)

• They don't participate in the Royal Assembly because of "unfortunate incident" that Isenarm was killed by the Geoborg heir.

4. Wigner Family: Talk to Levuiere Wigner. (prt_cas_q,82,21)

• Talk to Jurgen Wigner in the back of the room and he'll introduce you to his siblings. (prt_cas_q,95,9)

• The Wigner family apparently founded the kingdom of Rune Midgard, and Jurgen is very fashion-conscious. The parents prefer Katrin if she wasn't a girl, and Isaac is the most "Wigner-like."

5. Richard Family: Speak with Butler for the Richards. (prt_cas_q,80,80)

• Talk with Po Richard and you can choose whether or not you've heard of the Richard warrior. (prt_cas_q,93,74)

• Talk to Po Richard again and choose [I'll Try] if you want to unlock (Warrior Discipline) daily quest.
• As the military leaders, the Richards have been training to take down Satan Morroc.

6. Geoborg Family: Walk to (prt_cas_q,93,129)

you'll be stopped by the two bodyguards and the Queen will let you pass.

• Talk to Queen Catherine D. Geoborg.
• (Geoborg Sidequest) is available now.
• Descendants of Tristan I, Ernst now is the candidate for the ritual.

7. Roegenburg Family: Talk to Maximilian Roegenburg. (prt_cas_q,90,186)

• Speak to Wolf Roegenburg and you will be introduced to Agnes and Myer. Myer and Wolf argue. (prt_cas_q,96,186)

• Note: Helmut is the candidate. There was blue text in the Myer/Wolf argument that may be important.

8. Return to your private room the far west side and speak with Chamberlain Bell to receive 10 Honor Token and 300,000 Base EXP and 300,000 Job EXP. (prt_cas_q,26,30)

9. Proceed to the Banquet Hall at the end of the red carpet outside of Nyhill's room you'll overhear a conversation between Chamberlain and a Mysterious Guest. (about this way (prt_cas,178,164) )

10. Once in the Banquet Hall, walk to the foot of the stairs on the right and speak with Skia Nerius or Spica Nerius. (prt_cas,105,239)

• Complicated royal things are discussed as Violeta appears.
• Nyhill becomes mysteriously drunk off of very light champagne and returns to his room. Follow him

11. Outside Nyhill's room the previous Mysterious Guest pop up and start a dialog. (prt_cas,182,164) )

• You hear that they drugged Nyhill, and then Skia Nerius appears and then enter the room.

12. Go inside Nyhill's room and walk around the entrance until Skia and Nyhill appear. Talk to them to listen to their conversation. (prt_cas,27,38)

13. Return to your private room and talk with Chamberlain Bell (prt_cas_q,26,30)

• The Court Mage Nillem will appear, and he will transport you to the Royal Memory map or chose "Move to the Past Memories of the Royal Family". (prt_cas_q,28,28)

14. After you arrive go and talk to Mage Nillem. (prt_lib,91,85)

15. Create a party of only yourself then talk to Mage Nillem again to create the instance.

• Note: This is a Solo Only Instance.
• Note: To create a party use -> /organize "party name"

16. Then talk to Room of Consciousness teleporter to enter.

Ritual of Blessing Instance

1. Talk to Skia or Nyhill at the spawn point and they tell you to sit next to Po Richard and behind Ernst Geoborg.

2. Walk to the empty spot at (106/77) on the right side to initiate the ceremony.

• Note: Enjoy the cutscene...! Walk up a bit to watch the important part.

3. An intruder comes in and attacks Peter then demands the Ymir's Heart. Then spawns 3 (verify) very weak monsters (any class can kill by melee).

• Note: Nyhill (on the left) will heal you for 9999 and give you Kyrie Eleison if you walk near him.

4. Once all are defeated, talk to Kronecker G. Heine at the altar. He'll send all the families away (if you hadn't already talked to them). Then head south to exit the instance.

After the Ritual

1. Once outside the instance talk to Ian Walther. They suspect that you are involved. Tera Gloria and the Star of Blessing was stolen.

• Nyhill eventually confesses to telling someone about the ritual while he was drunk earlier.

2. Wait until they disappear then talk to Mage Nillem. (prt_lib,91,85)

3. Talk to Lindt the Librarian and see that there are magical blank pages in the book. (prt_lib,76,80)

4. Talk to Mage Nillem again as he discovers some magic like the Dimensional Crack. (prt_lib,91,85)

5. Nillem told you to talk to Guardian Knight to leave. (prt_lib,56,61)

6. After being transported to the prison talk with Overwatcher Terketh to be let out selecet option 2 "to the outside".

7. Return to your private room and talk to Chamberlain Bell to find a message for you. (prt_cas_q,26,30)

8. You'll be invited to the Nerius family, go to their room and speak with "Spica Nerius". (prt_cas_q,18,136)

• Note: You can only talk to her when she is the only NPC in the room. If the other two are in there, you'll have to wait/make them disappear.

9. Go visit the Heine in the room below and speak to Kronocker G. Heine listen to what he has to say. You'll be rewarded with 20 Honor Token , 400,000 Base EXP and 400,000 Job EXP as he tells you to work with Mage Nillem. (prt_cas_q,19,85)

• Access to (Request from Chief Guard) repeatable quest.
• This is the end of Episode 16.1 Banquet for Heroes (The Royal Banquet) Main Quest. You may now proceed to Episode 16.2 Terra Gloria Main Quest.

Room of Consciousness Instance

This instances can be repetead has 16 hour cooldown period.

Job Experience:	800,000 Job EXP (first-time). 400,000 Job EXP (daily).
Items:	30 Honor Token (first-time). 10 Honor Token (daily).

• Note: Speak first with Friedrich S. Heine (twice if necessary) he will ask you "are you going there again today?". Take option 1 "Yes". He will give you the mission (Hope You Cannot Let Go Daily Quest) to kill 1 Bijou (prt_cas_q,21,83)

1. To access Royal Memory talk to Chamberlain Bell and choose Call Nillem. (prt_cas_q,26,30)

2. Talk to Court Mage Nillem and choose Move to the Past Memories of the Royal Family. (prt_cas_q,28,28)

3. Once inside the Royal Memory talk to Mage Nillem again and a Dimensional Warper appears. (prt_lib,91,85)

4. Use the Dimension Warper to be taken back to the Old Memoir of Royal Family. 5. Talk to Nillem to reserve the instance and then the Swaying Space to start the instance. (prt_lib_q,91,85)

• Note: Create a party of only yourself then talk to Mage Nillem again to create the instance.
• Note: This is a Solo Only Instance.

Walkthrough

1. Talk to Fenrir at the entrance. (1@mir,103,40)

2. Walk up to the altar and talk to Iris. They find a Ymir Heart piece, as a small number of mildly weak skeletons appear (12k HP or so).(1@mir,100,94)

• Note: There are two waves of Enchanted Skeletons.

3. Once the waves of monsters are done speak with Iris.(1@mir,103,85)

4. It will spawn a Renovated Amdarais.

• Note: Renovated Amdarais is a non-boss monster therefore you have a chance to kill it with Turn Undead, Resurrection and Yggdrasil Leaf

Invaded Prontera

1. To reach the Invaded Prontera from the past, go in the Prontera Castle inside your room.

2. Speak with Chamberlain Bell and summon Nillem. He will warp you to the Past Memories of the Royal Family. (prt_cas_q,26,30)

3. Speak with Nillem again and he will make a Dimension Warper appear. Use it to go back in time.

4. Head towards the left corridor and use the portal below and you'll be warped to the Invaded Prontera map. 5. Monsters drop at very low chance Honor Token
